PMWF Police Department Rollout
We would like to take a minute to thank all the residents that came out to support the Police Rollout and Meet & Greet on Sunday.
It was a really nice turnout and we hope that all of your questions were answered. If there are any other questions or concerns that you might think of please feel free to contact the office. We would also like to remind our residents that we are looking for volunteers to support our "Neighborhood Crime Watch" Program.
SPECIAL COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Pocono Mountain Water Forest Community Association is proud to announce the formation and of its New Police Department. Our new Police Department will be solely dedicated to the safety and welfare of the Pocono Mountain Water Forest Residents.
What this will mean is that we will be enforcing speed limits, stop signs, and drunk driving as well as patrolling our common areas to enforce drug laws, under age drinking, curfew hours (SEE "OCTOBER 2011 BOARD OF DIRECTORS DECISION")(3rd Article), and ongoing vandalism.
We would like our residents to be fully assured that we will NOT be intruding into what goes on in your home. In the event of an emergency in your home or on your property you will still have to call 911 and have the Pennsylvania State Police respond.
We are confident that with the support of our community residents, this program can help to make Pocono Mountain Water Forest a shining example. We also believe that this will help us all with our quality of life, and help make this community a most attractive place to live.
