We ended the 2015 Pool Season with great weather on the Labor Day Weekend. The attendance was very good and all seemed to have a really good time. We would like to thank all our residents that came to the pool this year. You made great memories for everyone. We would also like to thank our wonderful Lifeguards that worked so hard to not only to insure the safety of our residents, but to make sure that all had a good time at the pool. You were all outstanding!

At this time we would like to take a moment to thank two of our board members that are leaving effective tomorrow. First we want to thank Ted Wetzel for the many years of service that he has given to this community. Also we would would like to thank Christopher Connelly for the great job he has done as Treasurer for the past few years.

It was a really nice turnout and we hope that all of your questions were answered. If there are any other questions or concerns that you might think of please feel free to contact the office.

We would also like to remind our residents that we are looking for volunteers to support our "Neighborhood Crime Watch" Program.

No matter how much time you could give, it would be a big plus to the community. Even an hour or two a week. And remember that you don't get involved in anything that you might see. All you do is WATCH, REPORT, & DISAPPEAR. You remain completely anonymous. No one will ever know that you are even part of the program. Please call the office at 570-686-2989 or Email us at PMWF@ptd.net if you are interested in helping your community. We will keep your information completely confidential.

SPECIAL COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Members,
The Pocono Mountain Water Forest Community Association is proud to announce the formation and of its
New Police Department. Our new Police Department will be solely dedicated to the safety and welfare of the Pocono Mountain Water Forest Residents.
photo 1 What this will mean is that we will be enforcing speed limits, stop signs, and drunk driving as well as patrolling our common areas to enforce drug laws, under age drinking, curfew hours (SEE "OCTOBER 2011 BOARD OF DIRECTORS DECISION")(3rd Article), and ongoing vandalism.
We would like our residents to be fully assured that we will NOT be intruding into what goes on in your home. In the event of an emergency in your home or on your property you will still have to call 911 and have the Pennsylvania State Police respond.
We are confident that with the support of our community residents, this program can help to make Pocono Mountain Water Forest a shining example. We also believe that this will help us all with our quality of life, and help make this community a most attractive place to live.

JOIN US AT THE POLICE MEET & GREET

We invite all residents to join us for a meet and greet with our new Police Officers immediately following the next monthly Board Meeting on Sunday April 19th, 2015 between 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

Refreshments will be served
